PRODUCT DETAILS

DESCRIPTION:

Geogrid is a polymer material composed of various polymers such as polyethylene and polyvinyl alcohol polypropylene. It is one of the most important inventions in geosynthetics, used as a reinforcing material. They are formed by connecting intersecting ribs. They have a large open space between their ribs, known as the "aperture".

Geogrids can be divided into two layers based on the stress transfer or tensile direction during the manufacturing process:

Uniaxial geogrid - it only stretches along the longitudinal direction. Therefore, stress is only transmitted along this axis; Compared to the transverse direction, even the tensile strength is greater in the longitudinal direction.

Biaxial geogrid - It stretches in two directions (longitudinal and transverse), so the stress is evenly distributed in both directions.

FEATURE:

Geogrids promote soil stability.

Geogrids provide higher bearing capacity.

Geogrids are inherently flexible and renowned for their versatility.

Geogrids have high durability and can reduce maintenance costs.

Geogrids have strong resistance to environmental impacts.

Geogrids are easy to install, resulting in faster construction speed.
